      The White Swan reopened in 2013, has a welcoming atmosphere and friendly clientele. The pub is decorated in contemporary style while retaining original pub features such as the large bay windows. Traditional drinking area at the bar, two comfortable areas for dining, drinking or playing the pub and board games on offer, plus a 'Curiosity Shop'. Quiz nights Sundays, with regular local live music, monthly vinyl night and activities such as Spanish conversation. A varied café-diner style menu is served throughout the day.       This former Sergeants Brewery tap, built in the 1700s, is now in its sixth year since reopening after restoration [2009]. Retaining original features, it is simply furnished with warming open fires in most rooms lit in winter. Recently [2017] extended to provide two extra rooms. Main outlet for Lincolnshire Craft Beers. The four guest beers are supplemented by draught Weston's Old Rosie and customer requests. There are up to eight craft and continental beers on tap alongside a good selection of bottled continental and British beers and ciders and a wide selection of malt whiskies and wines. A free Wifi service has recently [2017] been made available to customers. The smoking area is covered and heated. Trains to Brigg only run on weekdays, one train per day in each direction.

The pub brews its own beer occasionally, check for availability, as well as offering a range of rotating guest ales. Real cider is also sold. Annual beer festival generally held in September. Large outdoor children's play area and occasional live music. Pub is a popular meeting place for local heritage groups. Cask marque accredited.

      Village community pub alongside the River Trent. Under new ownership in 2016, but the pub ambience has been retained along with the on-site brewery. The three rooms are supplemented with a drinking area and picnic style bench seating on the riverbank. Beers from the house DarkTribe microbrewery are always available, and occasional seasonal beers are also produced. Quiz night on Tuesdays. The pub has a regular, loyal clientele and is very popular with cyclists, walkers, motor enthusiasts and all lovers of the traditional English pub. The kitchen is no longer open on a regular basis, only on special nights which are advertised on the pub's Facebook page..
